Verifying Documents in Your Practice Software

After finalizing a note, confirm it appeared correctly in your practice management system and mark the verification step as complete.

When you finalize a clinical note with a connected integration, ClinDoc automatically delivers it to your practice management system as a treatment note. This final onboarding step asks you to verify that the note arrived correctly.

This step only applies if you have a connected integration (e.g. Cliniko). Manual mode users won't see this step in their onboarding flow.

How to verify

  1. After finalizing your first note, open your practice management system (e.g. Cliniko).
  2. Navigate to the patient's record and look for the treatment note that was pushed from ClinDoc.
  3. Confirm the note content is present and formatted correctly.
  4. Return to ClinDoc and click Mark as Verified in the onboarding widget.

What to check

When reviewing the note in your PMS, confirm:

  • The note is attached to the correct patient
  • All sections are present (Subjective, Objective, Assessment, Plan, etc.)
  • Formatting looks correct in your PMS's note viewer
  • The date and appointment association are correct

Troubleshooting

Note not appearing in your PMS

  • Check that your integration is still connected and healthy in Settings → Integrations
  • Wait a few minutes — delivery may take a moment if the external system is busy
  • Try triggering a manual sync from the integration settings

Once you've verified your first note, all future finalized notes will be pushed automatically. You won't need to verify each one — this is a one-time onboarding check.
